The one benefit of being an “adult” is that you get to purchase most of the things you want or need. That being said, this poses a big challenge to find a meaningful, thoughtful gift for your spouse, close friends or family after a couple of years. We have resorted to essentials such as socks and a swap of various gift cards – pretty pathetic but what do you get for someone who already has everything? I’m sure a trip down south would be well received especially in the cold winter months but definitely not in the budget!
I was lucky to be contacted by Lauren Nicole Gifts and given a chance to have Ella’s hand print from one of her pre-school projects transferred onto a hand stamped heart charm necklace! Something so precious that I get to wear with pride close to my heart and keep for years to come. The necklace itself is dainty but not too fragile and of course the fact that Ella’s own hand print is on the necklace makes it priceless in my books!
I sent them a digital image of Ella’s hand print and the turn around to get my necklace didn’t take long at all (just over a week’s time). Not bad considering it’s custom made. Thinking ahead to Christmas, I’m definitely looking into this as a gift for her grandmother. I’m sure it’s going to melt her heart when she knows it’s Ella’s little hand print she’s wearing and she can proudly show it off to all her friends 🙂 Check a name off my Christmas gift list and it’s only October!
I am excited to offer one lucky All About the Child reader a chance to win their own custom made hand stamped necklace. To participate, subscribe to All About the Child today and that’s it. The winner chosen at random will be notified by November 30, 2015.
Thank you to Lauren Nicole Gifts for my special necklace and for supporting the contest as well!
