I am not a big sports fan but for some reason, I took a liking to baseball. When we had Ella, going out to child-friendly activities that was not completely geared towards the child was a little harder to come by. There are only so many splash pads, indoor gyms and play groups one can go to! Baseball was perfect as no one cared if your child made some noises, you can easily leave your seat and walk around if you child gets antsy and no one looked at you funny if you brought a baby/toddler to the game. At guest services, there is an option to check your stroller and we also found out that they issue a certificate to the child as a keepsake for their first visit to the stadium – free keepsake souvenir!
Where possible, we incorporated a MLB baseball game as part of the trip. In addition to the free certificate, we would purchase Ella a baseball cap as a keepsake. I thought it would be fun for her to hang her caps and certificates in her room.
So far, here are the stadiums we’ve been to…more to come in the future months/years!

August 2012 – Wrigley Field – Chicago Cubs
