Not sure if Ella is much different from others but it seemed like it took forever for her hair to grow! Of course I have yet to cut her hair and now that she has a mind of her own and obsessed with princesses, not sure that she’ll let me cut it anytime soon. As everyone knows, with long locks comes issues with tangles. When her hair was a little shorter, I could get through the tangles with a Wet Brush but as her hair grew longer using just the Wet Brush was not enough so off I went on a search for a leave-in detangling spray. I wanted one that not only helped get the tangles out but also didn’t leave a residue in her hair since I didn’t want to wash her hair more frequently as a result.
As I have long hair myself, I’ve tried several detanglers but stopped using them as I hated the residue it left behind. After reading countless reviews, I settled on trying a leave-in detangler by Original Sprout for Ella. I’ve used this for several months now and am happy to report it’s exactly what I was looking for. It’s easy to spray, let’s the brush glide through her hair without pulling, keeps her hair soft but does not leave a residue that makes her hair become dirty faster. In addition, she wakes up each morning and her hair remains easy to brush instead of the rat’s nest I had to comb through previously. As a bonus, the product has no parabens or phthalates. As always, my primary objective is a product that works but being free of these additives/chemicals is a bonus for sure.
